I believe that extraterrestrials (ET's) just have to exist! With all the millions of other galaxies, there must be many other solar systems like ours. And at least some of them must have planets that resembles our, with intelligent life on them. And since a lot of these planets are millions of years older that our own, it follows that the life forms on them should have civilizations that are more technoligically developed than we are. So it must be an easy thing for them to travel around on UFOs (unidentified flying objects), visiting other worlds whenever they like.
Even though I believe in UFO's, I'm not sure that any have actually come to Earth. I don't think any government would be able to hide the truth from the people for very long if the ETs wanted us to know they were here. But maybe they have their reasons for keeping their visits secret. If so, I doubt that anyone could discover their existence by accident.
I guess what I want to say is that although it is illogical to assume that ETs can't exist, there is no evidence that any of them have yet come to our planet. Maybe we are too primitive for them to be interested..

I agree. There has to be intelligent life out there. If there isn't then what's with all that infinite ever expanding space our there? What is our relationship to that which lies beyond us? One of the reasons given as to why we have not made contact is because we have not evolved into a higher state of being. We are still bickering over where we came from. Warring over this, that, and the other instead of uniting as one conscienceness. 'If' we have been visited; E.T.'s purpose would likely be to observe, not to establish contact.
